NURSE PRACTITIONER / PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
GLOBAL Medical Group of Companies is looking for a visiting Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistant that can see patients residing within West Covina and its neighboring cities (e.g. Baldwin Park, La Puente, Covina, Azusa, Glendora, Monrovia) among others.
We are essentially a mobile medical clinic, with services limited to physical assessment, ordering labs/medications, and referral to specialists. Aside from said services, NO other treatments/procedures are offered to patients (i.e. wound care, injections, x-rays).
Services to provide:

Services to provide:
- Visit patients at home care facilities, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, board and care facilities, and private homes.
- Properly and thoroughly assess all of patients’ conditions and be able to provide a comprehensive diagnosis.
- Prescribe necessary treatment within the scope of practice and assess patient's healthcare needs.
- Prescribe medications in compliance with established medical protocols.
- Educate patients on preventive care and health safety issues
- Physical face-to-face or telehealth visits with the patients to assess the patient's needs (medications, medical equipment, orders/referrals to specialists).
- Assessment if qualified to receive home health services under Medicare guidelines.
- Referral for home health services, if eligible.
